Most Wanted Fugitives Week of August 9, 2024

EL PASO, TEXAS – Crime Stoppers of El Paso, Inc., distributes fugitives wanted by the El Paso Police Department and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office every week through the Most Wanted feature.  The attached fugitives are individuals, where attempts in locating them for one reason or another have been unsuccessful.  The agencies submit these fugitives to Crime Stoppers of El Paso, Inc., which distributes them to the news media and offers the use of the Crime Stoppers hotline for information regarding the whereabouts of these fugitives.  Anyone with information on the location of any of these fugitives should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566-8477 (TIPS), or submit the information on-line at www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org.  You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you can qualify for a cash reward.  Crime Stoppers of El Paso, Inc., is a non-profit organization that brings together the community, law enforcement, and the media to solve crime.

Sheriff’s Deputies Greet Returning Students with High-Fives

EL PASO, TEXAS – EL PASO, TEXAS – On August 05, 2024, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station welcomed students with “High Fives” on their first day of school at Deanna Davenport Elementary and Bill Childress Elementary.  As the young students arrived, the deputies encouraged them to have a positive and safe school year.  Children and teachers were excited to see our deputies at their schools.  Events like these strengthen law enforcement relationships and trust with our young community.

NEWS RELEASE- Backpack Giveaway PJH

EL PASO, TEXAS – On July 24, 2024 El Paso County Sheriff’s Peter J. Herrera Station along with School Resource Deputies had their annual Backpack Giveaway. This time Deputies had the opportunity to Give away 150 backpacks to students from Josefa Sambrano Elementary School,, Lorenzo Loya Elementary School, Lorenzo Alarcon Elementary School, and Alfonso Borrego Elementary School. The backpacks were donated from Rebecca Salgado from Del Angel Funeral Homes and Mr. Christopher Navarro from CSM Navarros. In addition El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Community Services provided school supplies from donations. This event gave the opportunity to El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies to interact in a very positive way with young kids to continue improving our relationship with our community727A0643
