NEWS RELEASE- Crisis intervention team attends Robert R. Rojas Elementary School career day

EL PASO, TEXAS – On 11/22/2024 The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Crisis Intervention Team attended the Robert R. Rojas Elementary School Career Day.  The deputy and EHN Clinician spent the morning meeting students, teachers, and parents and discussed with them the important role CIT and EHN have in attending to and de-escalating mental health crisis situations. They also highlighted their own positive experiences in working within the law enforcement field as well as encouraged students to remain in school and further their education. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to interacting with the community we serve and encouraging the youth in our community to continue their education and pursue careers in law enforcement.
