NEWS RELEASE- Crisis intervention team attends Desert hills elementary school career day

EL PASO, TEXAS – On 12/06/2024 The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Crisis Intervention Team attended the Desert Hills Elementary School Career Day.  Deputies and EHN clinicians met with students at the school and gave a detailed presentation of CIT and EHN’s collaboration in responding to mental health crisis calls within the county of El Paso. Students were also treated to various El Paso County Sheriff’s Office goodies and were encouraged to remain in school and to pursue rewarding careers in law enforcement. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to interacting with the community we serve.
