THE PETER J. HERRERA PATROL STATION AND TARGETED RESPONSE UNIT SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER WITH CHRISTMAS TOY DONATIONS

EL PASO, TX - On December 12, 2023, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assigned to the Peter J. Herrera Station and the Targeted Response Unit visited and donated gifts to children at the Region 19 David Sublasky Head Start located in Fabens, Texas. The event allowed Deputies to engage and interact with the children and school staff to establish a closer relationship and give back to the community they serve. Among the gifts were toys and clothing items for the children ages six months to three years old and allowed the Deputies to provide holiday cheer to families in our community with their generous donations.

TWISTED X-MAS BLANKET AND TOY DRIVE

EL PASO, TX - The Women Behind the Badge Program, an initiative spearheaded by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, made an impact as they actively participated in a remarkable event called the Twisted X-Mas Blanket and Toy Drive, which took place at the infamous Forbidden Acres Haunted House on December 3, 2023. This event brought together community members from all walks of life and offered a diverse range of exciting experiences that amazed everyone. One of the event's highlights was the captivating live performances that mesmerized the audience with their talent and skill. From enchanting acts to awe-inspiring routines, these performances added a touch of magic to the already festive atmosphere. Furthermore, various vendors showcasing their unique products and services added to the excitement by offering attendees a chance to explore various merchandise. However, what truly made the Twisted X-Mas Blanket and Toy Drive a resounding success was the support of the El Paso community. Their generosity and willingness to give back were truly admirable, as they wholeheartedly contributed towards this noble cause by donating blankets and toys.

The attached fugitives are individuals, where attempts in locating them for one reason or another have been unsuccessful. The agencies submit these fugitives to Crime Stoppers of El Paso, Inc., which distributes them to the news media and offers the use of the Crime Stoppers hotline for information regarding the whereabouts of these fugitives. Anyone with information on the location of any of these fugitives should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566-8477 (TIPS), or submit the information on-line at www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org. You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you can qualify for a cash reward. Crime Stoppers of El Paso, Inc., is a non-profit organization that brings together the community, law enforcement, and the media to solve crime.

Career Days at Desert Hills Elementary and Horizon Middle School

EL PASO, TX - In November, Desert Hills Elementary and Horizon Middle School held career days on their premises. The El Paso Sheriff's Detention Officers and Deputies actively participated and interacted excellently with the students. On behalf of the school's resource deputy, Duran, we thank all the officers who took the time to address the students and provide them with valuable insights into their department. They represented their respective sections in a commendable manner. These presentations are valuable tools to assist children in their educational journey, offering them a unique and engaging learning experience.
