MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT AT the 156oo BLOCK OF MONTANA (RED-SANDS AREA)
EL PASO, TX – On November 19, 2023, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to Red Sands, located at 15600 Montana in El Paso County, regarding a welfare check of a person who had been run over by an off-roading vehicle as the victim had sustained severe injuries. Special Traffic investigators were requested to the scene, upon investigation, it was determined that the male victim was run over by a Jeep-type SUV with damage to its front left (driver) side. The driver of the Jeep failed to remain on scene and provide aid to the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and died.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Special Traffic Investigations unit is asking the public for information about the driver and vehicle that struck the victim. Traffic investigators can be contacted through Sheriff's Office dispatch at 915 832-4408.

EL PASO, TX – At approximately 6:00 pm, El Paso County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call in the 15600 block of Montana Ave., in the Red Sands area. Upon arrival, they discovered that a 37-year-old male had been hit by a vehicle, and he was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. At this time, there is no further information as the investigation continues.
