EL PASO, TX – On November 10th, 2023, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Community Service Section, Explorer Post 2005, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard, Patrol Commander Ryan Urrutia, and Laura Urrutia celebrated the Northeast Veterans Day Parade with Flags Across America. The parade started at the Texas National Guard off Hondo Pass and proceeded towards Old Glory Memorial. Many organizations participated, including floats, marching bands, military groups, and more, to the delight of several spectators. The Sheriff's Office has been participating for several years, honoring the brave men and women who have selflessly served our nation. This day is an opportunity to honor our veterans' sacrifices and unwavering dedication. We thank the veterans within our ranks for continuing to protect and serve our community with the same passion and commitment they displayed in the military. Your invaluable skills, experience, and resilience positively impact our agency and the people we serve. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the veterans in our community. Your courage, sacrifice, and devotion to upholding freedom and democracy inspire us all. Your unwavering commitment to protecting our great nation is a shining example of honor and duty.
