Crisis Intervention Team joined Carroll T Welch Elementary Social Emotional Learning Night

El Paso, Texas – On Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Sheriff’s Office Crisis Intervention Team joined Carroll T Welch Elementary for their Social Emotional Learning Parents Night. The event aimed to educate parents on the importance of social-emotional learning for their children and the school’s efforts to promote mental wellness. The Crisis Intervention Team is a group of highly trained professionals who specialize in managing crisis situations and de-escalating them. In addition, they work closely with schools and other community groups to address mental health issues and related concerns.
