Incident at Polling Place

NEWS RELEASE – El Paso, Texas.  On Friday, November 4^th, 2022 at 3:50 pm an employee of the El Paso County Elections Department notified the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office of an incident at a polling place, Marty Robbins Recreation Center, 11620 Vista Del Sol Dr.   Upon arrival it was determined that an altercation occurred between a campaign worker and a citizen.  The citizen was accused of knocking a cell phone from the campaign worker’s hand, causing minor damage to the phone. A report was generated and an investigation will be conducted to determine what charges, if any, are appropriate.  The parties involved were sent on their way.
