2022 NATIONAL COFFEE WITH A DEPUTY DAY

image     COFFEE WITH A DEPUTY 2022 (0)

El Paso, Texas – On October 5, 2022, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Deputies celebrated National Coffee with a Deputy Day at three locations throughout El Paso County. The Deputies' mission during this event is to break down the barriers between law enforcement officers and the citizens they serve. The event allows citizens to discuss issues and learn more about each other. It is a casual atmosphere and the Sheriff’s Office will be having this event throughout the year on a quarterly basis. The goal is to build trust in person, having real conversations about issues that really matter to El Paso County citizens. Deputies from Northwest Patrol Station met at Speedy’s” restaurant in Canutillo. Community Service Deputies met at Cotton Eye Joe’s Restaurant located at 1591 N FM RD. Clint, TX 79936, Ensenada Restaurant located at 14281 Montana Ave Ste., 8, El Paso, TX 79938 and Starbucks Coffee located at 1881 Joe Battle Blvd., El Paso, TX 79936.  Deputies met with citizens, answered some of their concerns, and we provided “Lock it or Lose it” and “Illegal Dumping” flyers, which give tips to citizens on how to prevent being the victims of a burglary of vehicle, and how to report illegal dumping in their area.  The citizens were happy to meet with the deputies.

2022 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT RELEASE

El Paso, Texas – On October 4th, 2022, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office celebrated its 11th Annual National Night out held at El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Parking lot located at 3850 Justice Dr. El Paso, TX 79938. On behalf of Sheriff Wiles and the Sheriff’s Office, we would like to thank all the local agencies promoting safety in our El Paso Community. Over 70 agencies and local supporters showcase their units, and equipment and had games and giveaways for the public. We had over 500 attend this annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, and better places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Special recognition to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Community Service Section, they worked above and beyond to make this event a success. They worked hard and helped everyone set up their booth. A perfect example of “working as a team” and “serving with pride”!!
