WANTED SEX OFFENDER – HERNANDEZ, MARIO

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Mario Hernandez.

Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a verification check at the registered residence for Hernandez. Deputies determined that he no longer resides at the residence, and his whereabouts are unknown. He has been labeled as ABSCONDED, and added charges for Sex Offenders Duty to register are forthcoming.

He is a registered sex offender following a conviction of Attempted Molestation of a Child and Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor out of the State of Arizona, the victim being a 12-year-old female, and has a Capias/Motion to Revoke for the offense of Attempted Molestation of a Child out of the State of Arizona.

It is possible Hernandez fled to Mexico through the San Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego, California.
