SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS INDIVIDUAL FOR THEFT

El Paso, Texas – On April 9, 2021, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies launched an investigation in reference to an individual conducting deceptive business practices through his monument and memorial business.

The offender entered into a contract with the victim for a headstone, but the victim never received the headstone they paid for.

Through the course of the investigation, Sheriff’s Office investigators identified the offender as Valor Dalano Blazer, age 74, and his companies EMI-USA, Monuments/Bronze Memorial Division, and XL MFG Inc., Memorial Division.

A search warrant was obtained and on May 9, 202, Blazer was located and taken into custody. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Theft of Property >=$2,500<$30K.
