SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS MOST WANTED SUBJECT
May 5, 2021
El Paso, Texas – On May 5, 2021, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Warrants & Fugitive Apprehension Unit conducted an investigation at a residence located in the 230 block of Thorn Ridge Cir. that led to the arrest of a most wanted subject.
As a result of the investigation, deputies located and took Julio Tarango into custody without incident.
Tarango was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on two counts of violating bond/protective order and assault family violence.
Tarango was previously featured as WANTED by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office through Crime Stoppers of El Paso.

El Paso, TX – On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station were dispatched to the 500 block of Rancho Estancias Dr. in reference to a vehicle burglary.
Through the course of the investigation, Sheriff’s Office deputies located the offender at a neighboring residence. Patrick Vasquez, age 17, was found in possession of personal items belonging to the victim that were removed from their vehicle without consent.
Vasquez was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Burglary of Vehicle.

El Paso, TX – On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station observed two individuals walking on the 7570 block of Doniphan Dr. that met the description of two wanted individuals from an Assault/Criminal Mischief that occurred on April 29, 2021.
As Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to make contact, the two individuals proceeded to flee on foot. Following a short foot pursuit, Sheriff’s Office deputies took Laura Gutierrez and Jesus Lopez into custody without incident.
Both individuals were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Evading Arrest/Detention.
