SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS SUBJECT IN EAST EL PASO COUNTY

El Paso, TX – El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 3600 block of Buck St. in reference to a family violence call.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the homeowners and learned they had a verbal disagreement with their son Ramon Provencio, and feared he would try to continue the argument and become aggressive.
Through the course of the investigation, Provencio struck two deputies with a baseboard and metal object as they attempted to speak with him.
He was subsequently taken into custody, and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on two outstanding warrants for Assault Causes Bodily Injury, two counts of Agg Assault Against Public Servant, and Resist Arrest Search or Transport.
