Development Services and Engineering oversees the engineering review and floodplain management of all development in the unincorporated areas of the County. Staff reviews all plat applications, subdivision improvement plans and floodplain management to ensure they meet all state and county requirements.

El Paso County energizes streetlights on new subdivisions when the subdivision is 50 percent occupied. If you believe this is the case, please email us requesting streetlights to be energized in the new subdivision.
