OUR COURT WILL SET EACH CASE INDIVIDUALLY AND FOR SAFETY REASONS WE ARE ASKING TO HAVE THE PARTIES APPEAR TELEPHONICALLY, BY VIDEO, OR IF IN PERSON, BE SUBJECT TO STRICT RESTRICTIONS UPON ENTRY OF THE BUILDING.
DURING THIS TIME FEDERAL AND STATE MANDATES DICTATE HOW WE HANDLE THE CASES. THE COURT MUST FOLLOW THOSE GUIDELINES AS THEY ARE INITATED OR MODIFIED. CURRENLTY SET TO EXPIRE ON JUNE 1ST. (EMERGENCY ORDER 36)

CDC HAS ISSUED A NEW FEDERAL EVICTION MORATORIUM ORDER WHICH TOOK EFFECT SEPTEMBER 4, 2020 AND RUNS THROUGH JUNE 30TH, 2021. THE LINKS BELOW WILL INFORM YOU ABOUT THE NOTICE AND WHAT IS NEEDED FROM THE PARTICIPANTS.

BOTH PARTIES NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE ORDER AND WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THEM.

Justice of the PeaceDue to the limited phone access contact with the court should be made in person or through email.

This office accepts the following forms of payment: Cash, Cashier’s Check, Money Orders, Debit Cards and Major Credit Cards. On Criminal cases a payment plan will only be available after a hearing and final judgment is rendered on the case.

To request a hearing please come to the office as paperwork will need to be signed by the Defendant. If you do not live in the area of El Paso County you can contact the court via email for your options.

You can file a Civil case online with the “Efile Texas Self Help” link or at the “Texas E-filing” link.
