El Paso County TP&E through different funding sources has been able to design and construct new multimodal roadways to improve connectivity in different areas of the County. New roadways include new asphalt or concrete, pavement markings, illumination, sidewalks, drainage infrastructure and additional improvements.

The Pellicano Drive Widening Project (the Project) scope includes the reconstruction of the existing roadway to a 6-lane divided roadway with raised median, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, landscaping, safety illumination, storm drainage, signing and striping from Loop 375 (Joe Battle) to Berryville Street/Darrington Road. The Project is intended to improve safety and mobility on that heavily used roadway. The total construction cost was bid at $22.1 million and includes federal, state, and local funding |

El Paso County is proposing the construction of Share Use Path (SUP) 12-foot-wide along the EPCWID#1 ROW and Alameda Ave. (TxDOT Road) totaling 1.1 miles. The multimodal transportation project will include ADA ramps, pavement marking, signage, crosswalks, and illumination. The addition of the 1.10 miles of SUP will enhance pedestrian safety for the community of all ages and abilities, access and mobility for individuals with disabilities and connectivity. |

El Paso County is proposing the construction of a 5-foot-wide sidewalk along G Ave., Walker Ave., 5th St., Mike Maros St. and Aspen Hills St. totaling 2.72 miles. The project will include 61 ADA ramps, striping, crosswalks and driveways. The addition of the 2.72 miles of sidewalk to those streets/roadways will enhance pedestrian safety for the community, local business and students who attend Fabens Elementary School, O’ Donnell Intermediate School, Fabens High School and Cotton Valley Early College High School. |

Project consist on the construct approximately 1.3 miles of Montwood Drive between Tierra Este Road and Rich Beem Boulevard to connect the two existing segments of Montwood Drive. The proposed extension will consist of a four-lane, divided, asphalt roadway with curb and gutter, sidewalk(s), and a shared use path. Other improvements will include landscaping, illumination, and a storm sewer system with ponding areas. |
