Fabens Airport is a public airport owned and managed by El Paso County, located in Fabens, Texas, approximately 30 miles east of El Paso. The airport is a general aviation facility with one primary runway, Runway 8/26, which measures 4,200 feet in length. In recent years the TP&E division from El Paso County has identified the importance to improve the current conditions at the airport by completing both short- and long-term improvements to increase airport activity, as well as, to meet federal aviation standards. The County has implemented several improvement projects to the Fabens Airport, as outlined in recent studies, to include the FY2020 Airport Business Development Plan (ABDP), and the Fabens Airport Zoning Masterplan, along with ongoing major engineering design plans and the addition of aviation equipment.

Fabens Airport Courtesy Car  Pilots and visitors, if you’re planning a trip to the Fabens Airport, you may be eligible to use our Courtesy Car! To prepare for your visit, send over your Name, DOB, DL#, and State DL issued information to Daniel Marquez or Reyna Mayorga to obtain background check clearance. Additionally, fill out and sign the Fabens Courtesy Car Release Form along with the Fabens Airport Courtesy Car Driver Guidelines, and return to Daniel Marquez and Reyna Mayorga for our records. El Paso County staff will coordinate your visit with our Fixed-Based Operator’s (FBO) Management once all forms and clearance are received.
