MISSION

To provide a public legal research facility to the citizens and visitors of the County, in order to facilitate access to legal information and enhance the administration of justice.

OVERVIEW

Your public research facility strives to provide a relevant, reliable, and easily accessible collection of legal resources. We have a comprehensive collection of print and electronic resources covering federal, regional, state and local jurisdictions. The Library is funded by a filing fee assessed on civil filings. The operational management is a collaborative effort between the Domestic Relations Office and the El Paso County private bar. The Bar participates through a Law Library Committee consisting of judges and attorneys, selected annually by the local Bar Association president.
