About Tristan Bouilly (pronounced “BOO-YEE”)
Mr. Bouilly was raised in El Paso and is proud to have served our community as a lawyer since 2012 and, prior to that, as a music educator in the Ysleta ISD. His law practice has focused on criminal defense, juvenile, and family law cases.
Mr. Bouilly’s education in psychology has attuned him to the suffering and frustration clients feel when they find themselves involved in the legal system. He fights hard for his clients while treating them with respect and dignity.
Mr. Bouilly believes that everyone deserves the highest quality of legal representation, especially when their freedom is on the line. It is his pleasure to guide his clients through the hardest fights of their lives and see them prevail.

Todd began his law career as a prosecutor, but learned quickly that the best kind of work was the work local criminal defense attorneys were doing. After a few years in private practice where he was able to hone his trial skills, he joined a small public defender office in his home state of Nebraska. Like many of his colleagues, he believes that public defender work is a calling, especially suited to people who enjoy challenging authority and the status quo. In 2017 the opportunity arose to work almost exclusively in appeals, and he has been happily researching, writing and lending support to the trial lawyers in the office ever since then.
