CONVICTION INTEGRITY REVIEW COMMITTE
The Conviction Integrity Review Committee conducts oversight regarding criminal case reviews and to ensure the integrity of challenged convictions. The oversight will also include assisting with the remedies of wrongful convictions and taking corrective measures for uncovered injustices. All action taken will be done within the confines of the law.
The committee will accept requests for review whereas the applicant was prosecuted by the El Paso, Hudspeth, and Culberson counties District Attorney’s Office. The applicant’s claim of factual innocence or wrongful conviction will be investigated thoroughly through multiple avenues that would allow the claim to be substantiated.
