GENERAL INFORMATION
Under the Public Information Act, a requestor must make a request directly to the public information officer or chief administrative officer of the department that is the legal custodian of the records requested. In El Paso County, every elected official is the custodian of their own respective records.

PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE
The District Attorney’s Office believes strongly in government transparency. The Public Information Act requires that requests be made in writing. Written requests to the County Attorney's Office must be submitted by one of the following methods: (i) mailed or hand delivered to the District Attorney's Office, 500 E. San Antonio, 2nd Floor, El Paso, Texas 79901; (ii) emailed to DAPIARequests.gem@epcounty.com; or (iii) by using the electronic submission below.
