HUMAN RESOURCES

Effective April 21, 2014, West Texas CSCD is contracted with County of El Paso Human Resources Office to provide Human Resource services to our agency. Through this inter local agreement, we expect to gain many advantages and provide better services to our employees.

Contracting with the County provides services which assist us in addressing HR related matters more effectively and more efficiently. Additionally, this inter-local partnership will help to create additional synergies and collaboration for our agency and the County. A significant gain is the level of expertise in human resources and employee relations. Most importantly, the independence of the HR function will be strengthened through this services being provided by an external provider. This means HR can provide both employees and supervisors confidential, independent, and impartial assistance with addressing disputes. This will assist our agency with internal conflict resolution and problem-solving. Additionally, they can help us identify and address systemic problems and organizational issues that impact our organization and our employees.
