- The Criminal Warrants and Fugitive Apprehension Unit is comprised of a Sergeant and several Deputies for Criminal Warrants/Fugitive Extraditions. In addition to the sworn personnel, the unit has one civilian section supervisor and six administrative assistants.

The Criminal Warrants and Fugitive Apprehension Unit is responsible for the safe keeping of criminal warrants from the Sheriff’s Office, Justice of the Peace Courts, District and County Courts, and unexecuted indictments from the District Attorney’s Office. Deputies are tasked with locating and arresting persons wanted on outstanding criminal warrants and extradition orders of those who have evaded the Criminal Justice System. Deputies are responsible arresting persons wanted by other stats and other counties in the State of Texas
