  • Patrick Gailey Chief Patrick J. Gailey, a lifelong El Pasoan, has served in law enforcement for over 40 years. He began his career with the El Paso Police Department, dedicating 22 years to various assignments and ranks before joining the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer. His extensive training includes the FBI National Academy, the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas, and the El Paso County Leadership Academy. His distinguished service has earned him honors such as a Life-Saving Award and two Good Conduct Awards.

    Chief Gailey is deeply committed to his community and professional excellence. He holds academic credentials from El Paso Community College, UTEP, and Park University. Married for over 37 years, he and his wife Lisa are proud parents and grandparents. His contributions to law enforcement and public safety reflect his dedication to making El Paso a safer community.
