Unveiling Of Mural Created Under Program That Employs Art To Rehabilitate Teens
On Friday September 21, 2012, teens under the jurisdiction of the El Paso Juvenile Probation Department (JPD), along with renowned painter Emanuel Martínez, will unveil murals they created at the Judge Enrique H. Peña Juvenile Justice Center.
The two murals were sponsored by the Emanuel Project, a nationally recognized program that uses art to rehabilitate teens.
Officials with the Juvenile Probation Department, Juvenile Referees, District Judges, and administrators from the Delta Academy (EPISD) are expected to participate in the official unveiling of the murals.
