NEWS RELEASE- El Paso County Sheriff's Office Hosts Successful Santa with a Badge Toy Distribution Event

EL PASO, TEXAS – On December 15, 2024, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office proudly hosted the Santa with a Badge toy distribution event at Alarcon Elementary School, marking the culmination of a weeks-long toy drive initiative. This heartwarming event brought together community partners, businesses, and residents, all motivated by a shared goal: to spread joy during the holiday season.

Throughout the toy drive, numerous donation boxes were strategically placed at various businesses and locations across El Paso, making it easy for community members to contribute. Additionally, several car shows were organized to encourage toy donations, fostering a spirit of giving and community involvement. The Sheriff's Office also welcomed many generous residents who stopped by to drop off toys, demonstrating the power of collective action in our community.

"This event exemplifies the incredible spirit of El Paso," said Sheriff's Office Public Affairs Director Vanessa Tena. "We are immensely grateful to our community partners and all who contributed to this initiative. Together, we have made a significant impact in the lives of local children this holiday season."
