FOUR SUBJECTS ARRESTED IN UPPERVALLEY BURGLARIES

NEWS RELEASE

EL PASO COUNTY TEXAS-On 07-12-12 at approximately 2:00 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 537 E. Vinton (Circle N Store), Vinton, TX, reference to an audible alarm. Upon arrival, an investigation revealed the (3) subjects involved made way with  miscellaneous items from the business.

At approximately 4:20 AM, Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Casa Verde, El Paso County Texas, reference (3) Burglary of Vehicles. The subjects involved also consisted of two males and one female in which the subjects were seen burglarizing vehicles and then fled in a passenger car. A surveillance video from the previous burglary(Circle N) alerted Sheriff’s Deputies to one of the male subjects known to drive a grey Pontiac Grand Am.

At 4:55 AM, the said vehicle was spotted traveling eastbound at FM259. The driver and (3) occupants were detained for questioning resulting in the arrest of 3 adults and 1 juvenile. All were charged with ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY-Burglary of Building and (5) counts of Burglary of Vehicle. The juvenile, a 16 year old female, was referred to JPD. The driver/RODRIGUEZ was also charged with Resisting Arrest and GUZMAN was charged with Possession of Marijuana u/2 oz.

CHRISTIAN GUZMAN(19) Charge(s): POM- u/2 oz Bond: $500 E.I.O.C.A-Burglary of Building Bond: $15,000 E.I.O.C.A-Burglary of Vehicle 5-CTS Bond: $10,000 each

IRVIN RODRIGUEZ(19) Charge(s): Resist Arrest Search & Transport Bond: $1,500 E.I.O.C.A-Burglary of Building Bond: $15,000 E.I.O.C.A-Burglary of Vehicle 5-CTS Bond: $10,000 each
