POLICE SEEK INFORMATION ABOUT A COLD CASE MURDER
Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting the El Paso Police Department in locating the person or persons responsible for a cold case murder that has gone unsolved since 2002 , making this the
Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Saturday, September 21st, 2002, at approximately 1:00 A.M., Camilo Esparza was found murdered at the family business, Esparza Motors, located at 7971 Alameda. Mr. Esparza had been shot. During the investigation it was discovered that a vehicle from the business had been stolen during the incident. That vehicle was a 1995 tan colored Ford Contour bearing Texas Dealer plates that was found a few weeks later in another part of Central El Paso.
