Tuesday, April 7, 2009 - El Paso, TX - All El Paso County offices and the County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2009 in observance of Good Friday.

All County offices and the Courthouse will resume normal operating hours on Monday, April 13, 2009.

Emergency services are never affected by office closures. However, administrative offices of the Sheriff's office will also be closed on Friday, April 10^th and resume normal operating hours on Monday, April 13^th. Residents in need of emergency assistance must call 911.

El Paso County parks, including the Ascarate Golf Course and the Lighted Driving Range, will be open for the enjoyment of area residents.

The county Parks and Recreation Department reminds residents wanting to celebrate Easter Sunday at Ascarate park to arrive early, have plenty of liquids and wear appropriate sun block.

Family pets are allowed in county parks with leash.
