- The Strike Team was designed to be a direct response to patterns of unlawful activity, with the intent to reduce crime County wide.
- The Team works both in plain-clothes and in uniform. The unit's primary function is to identify crime trends and implement a plan to investigate, deter and cease the targeted criminal activity. The unit will conduct sting operations, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and will take a proactive enforcement of the State laws. The Team will work with community members, other law enforcement agencies and non governmental organizations to combat crime and make our community safer.
- Due to operational security the number of Deputies assigned to the unit and the hours of operation will not be revealed.
