  • Early Voting by Mail
  •  
  • You may vote early by mail if you are:
  • - going to be away from El Paso County on Election Day and during early voting;
  • - disabled;
  • - 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
  • - confined in jail, but eligible to vote.
  •  
  • Download an Application for a Ballot by Mail (PDF), or Download a Letter For a Ballot by Mail (PDF) to request that a ballot by mail be sent to you. It must include:
  •  
  • a. voter registration certificate number
  • b. name and address in El Paso County
  • c. mailing address if different from above
  • d. your signature (or a witness' signature if you cannot sign);
  • e. date or name of election
  • f. political party for primaries only
  • g. reason why you are voting by mail
  •  
  • Applications or Letter for a ballot by mail should be sent to:

  • You have 60 days before Election Day and until the 7th day before the Election to submit an application or letter.
  •  
  • If you are voting early by mail you must send your application or letter by:
  • - Regular mail
  • - UPS or Federal Express
  •  
  • After the early voting clerk receives your application or letter with all required information, you will be mailed a ballot.
  •  
  • When you are finished voting, mail your ballot in the envelope provided. The early voting clerk must receive your voted ballot no later than 7 p.m. Election Day. Please call (915) 546-2154 for assistance..
