ARRESTS MOST WANTED SUBJECT IN EAST EL PASO

El Paso, TX – On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Criminal Warrants and Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested a wanted subject in east El Paso.

Delia Hernandez age 35 was arrested by deputies on the 10200 block of Renfrew Dr. When deputies made contact with Hernandez, she was wearing a wig in an attempt to deceive deputies and provided them with a false name.

Hernandez was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on three counts of Tampering With Government Record, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Poss Identifying Info # of items 5<10, Unauthorized Use of Vehicle, Poss CS PG 1>=1G<4G, Poss CS PG 1 >=4G<200G along with Fail to Identify Fugitive Intent to Give False Info. 

At the time of the arrest, Hernandez was in possession of counterfeit US currency and multiple identifying documents belonging to other people.  Additional charges are pending a follow-up investigation.

Hernandez was previously featured was wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office through Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
