EPCSO ARRESTS SUBJECTS FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP

El Paso, TX – On Monday, November 27, 2017, El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a wanted subject following a traffic stop in far east El Paso County.     

Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on the 700 block of S. Clint San Elizario Rd. to confirm the registration status of the vehicle. Through the course of the traffic stop, it was determined by deputies that the registration was expired and the driver had two outstanding traffic warrants with the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office deputies proceeded to conduct the arrest of Moises Soria age 31 when he attempted to flee from deputies. Deputies pursued the subject on foot and subsequently took him into custody.

Soria was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Evading Arrest Detention, and two outstanding warrants for Driving While License Invalid and Expired Driver’s License.
