EPCSO ARRESTS TWO SUBJECTS FOLLOWING TIP RECEIVED VIA TIP 411

El Paso, TX – On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two subjects following a tip received from the Tip 411 service.

Sheriff’s Office conducted a follow-up investigation in central El Paso, through the course of the investigation deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Arizona Ave. and Noble St.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of one pound of hydroponic marijuana, 21 grams of cocaine, and 1 gram of Adderall.

Both occupants of the vehicle were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. Roberto Saavedra age 26 was booked for Poss CS PG 1 >=4G<200G and Poss Marij> 4oz <=5lbs. Jovan Ramos age 24 was booked for Poss Marij> 4oz <=5lbs, for Poss CS PG 1 >=4G<200G, and Poss CS PG 2 <1G.

To use the TIP 411 service: Users type “EPCSO” plus their tip on their cell phone and text it to the number “TIP411” (847411). The text message is encrypted and an alias is generated, the tip is then submitted to the Sheriff’s Office anonymously.
