EPCSO ARRESTS THREE SUBJECTS, INCLUDING A MOST WANTED SUBJECT

El Paso, TX - El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Criminal Warrants and Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested three subjects including one of El Paso’s Most Wanted on Thursday, September 28, 2017.

Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a week-long investigation that led to the arrest of Jonathan Hernandez age 24, at a residence located in the 10700 block of Jadestone.

While deputies attempted to make contact with Hernandez at the residence, Crystal Venegas age 24 and Malik Heath age 24 attempted to conceal the location of Hernandez by hiding him under piles of clothing in a bedroom. Venegas and Heath also tried to deter deputies from entering the room by leaving a large aggressive dog in the same room.

All three subjects were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility without incident.

Hernandez was booked for Sex Offender Duty to register, Failed to Comply Sex Offender, Evading Arrest with vehicle, and Evading Arrest with vehicle with a previous conviction.

Both Venegas and Heath were booked for Hindering Apprehension of a Wanted Person a state jail felony.

Hernandez was previously featured as “WANTED” by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office with Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
