On 11-16-2013 at approximately 1:45am a Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to the 12000 of Quetzal Dr in Clint, TX in reference to a possible theft. The Deputy met with the caller who stated he saw three male subjects pushing an ATV through a field adjacent to his property. He believed what the subjects were doing was suspicious and tried to make contact. The three subjects then fled the scene leaving the ATV behind. The Deputies followed the shoe impressions back to where the ATV had been taken. They back tracked about a mile and came to the backyard of a residence located at the 12300 of Sacred Well Rd in Clint Tx. The home owner confirmed that his ATV had been stolen and wished to prosecute.

Deputies went back to where the ATV was abandoned and began a search for the three subjects. Several Border Patrol Agents joined in the search. Law enforcement officials were able to locate three sets of the shoe impressions nearby and followed them to a home located at the 12000 block of Alameda Ave. in Clint Tx. Deputies met with the owners who allowed the Deputies to enter the home. Inside one of the bedrooms were three subjects who admitted to stealing the ATV. They were subsequently arrested for felony theft charges. All three subjects were booked into the El Paso County Jail Annex.
