ELPASO COUNTY TEXAS-On 08-14-12 at approximately 12:30 PM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Crimes Against Persons Detectives arrested 59 year old SERGIO REYES on four separate counts of Promotion of Prostitution.
As a result of a one month undercover operation, Sheriff’s Detective’s charged REYES, a self employed process server with four counts of Promotion of Prostitution. The investigation revealed REYES was targeting females at the El Paso County Courthouse who were attempting to file for divorces. REYES, would then solicit sexual favors from the females for himself or another in exchange for money.
REYES was booked into the El Paso County Detention facility with a total bond of $800,000. The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case and urges anyone who may have any information pertaining to SERGIO REYES to please contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915-546-2280.
