Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
About 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 25th, 2012, a 15-year-old girl was walking home from school. When she reached the 8800 block of Alameda, at Padres, the male suspect drove his vehicle across her path and made her stop. The male asked the young girl if she needed a ride home and she refused. He then got out of the vehicle and attempted to push her into the passenger side door, but the victim was able to get away and walk into a nearby business for safety.
The suspect in this case is described as an Hispanic man in his 30’s with dark hair and dark complexion, wearing a baseball cap, black t-shirt, and clear eye glasses. He had no facial hair. The vehicle he was driving was a white, 4-door compact car, possibly with leather interior and a rosary hanging from the rear view mirror.
