EL PASO COUNTY TEXAS-On Friday 06-15-2012, the Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Persons (CAP) Detectives located and arrested two additional offenders in the Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Aggravated Assault) case which occurred on June 02, 2012, after Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of Chaucer St., Sparks area, in reference to an assault.
Since the incident, the investigation has resulted in several arrests made by Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Persons (CAP) Detectives. The most recent, Marcelo Marrufo (21) and Alejandro Munoz (21). Both have been charged and arrested in the continued Investigation of the Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity case, which resulted in two persons being taken to a local area hospital with serious bodily injuries. One of which remains in a local area hospital with serious injuries. Marrufo and Munoz are both charged with two counts of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity(Aggravated Assault causing Serious Bodily Injury) they were booked into the El Paso County Detention facility under $100,000.00 bonds. The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
