The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Section raised funds for a special cause during the month of May. On Friday, May 11th and on Sunday May 13th- Mother’s Day weekend, Traffic Investigators spent their time fundraising to benefit the March of Dimes.

The Traffic Section got competitive by asking Sam’s Club customers, entering and exiting the warehouse, for donations into an OFFICER’S TRAFFIC BOOT.  All for the cause of “Being a hero for the tiniest babies”.  For two days with an 8 hour shift each day, Deputies from the Traffic Section welcomed and shared their Mission with customers to raise funds and customers filled the traffic boot, raising $2,614.72, all to help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.
