EL PASO, TEXAS – This week’s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual who continues eluding capture. The target has been identified as MICHAEL FERNANDEZ (24) of El Paso, TX.
AUGUST 2011 On August 8, 2011, EPPD Officers were called to a residence in the 6900 block of Escondido El Paso, TX in reference to an assault in progress. Upon Authorities arrival, it was discovered that minutes earlier, MICHAEL FERNANDEZ was arguing with his then female acquaintance & began throwing items & damaging the home. As FERNANDEZ’ rage escalated, a 3rd Party tried to intervene to calm him & was violently assaulted by FERNANDEZ. Charges were filed & FERNANDEZ was arrested on the night of the incident.
FERNANDEZ has since failed to show for court & is Wanted for the Offense of ASSAULT under a $50,00 BOND.
OCTOBER 2011 On October 14, 2011, FERNANDEZ was arrested in an unrelated Drug Bust for the Offense of DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (COCAINE). FERNANDEZ has also failed to show for court on this charge & is now wanted on the aforementioned offense.
MICHAEL FERNANDEZ has an extensive criminal history to include numerous ASSAULTS, AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON, SEXUAL ASSAULT, & MULTIPLE NARCOTIC ARRESTS.
FERNANDEZ knows he is wanted and continues being on the run eluding capture. He’s got numerous tattoos on his upper body, including large sleeve length tattoos on both arms. He also has a piercing on his upper cheek.
