EL PASO COUNTY, TEXAS- During the week of February 20, 2012 Sheriff’s Office Strike Team Deputies conducted a two day STATIONARY VEHICLE CHECK OPERATION in East El Paso County, that resulted in the issuance of 213 citations. The objective is to ensure motorists are in compliance with Texas traffic laws.The Sheriff’s Office Strike Team will be conducting more stationary vehicle check operations in the near future. The two highest number of violations were for No Insurance and No Driver’s License. Two individuals were arrested during the operation for outstanding traffic warrants.
