El Paso Texas- On Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at approximately 11:10 AM, an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Officer was dispatched to the 14600 block of Anton, El Paso County, TX, in reference to two loose horses in the Montana Vista area. During the investigation, one of the two horses (a pony) was claimed and returned to its rightful owner; however the second horse was not.
The Animal Control Unit has not had success in locating the owner of the second horse and is seeking assistance from the public with any information regarding this case of Animal Cruelty. The horse has been considered abandoned and is in need of an new owner. Any one interested in adopting the horse, is urged to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915-546-2280, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
The unclaimed horse is brown, thin and does not appear to be injured.
