SO DETECTIVEEL PASO, COUNTY TX- Today, 09-17-11 at approximately 12:30 PM, an Upper Valley resident contacted Law Enforcement authorities in reference to the location of several items which were believed to have been taken during the Aggravated Assault of an El Paso County Sheriff’s Detective who is attached to the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, along with the United States Marshal Service and Federal Bureau of Investigation were able to recover numerous items which were concealed in abandoned structures at the 7600 block of Doniphan, in Canutillo, TX. One of the items which was recovered, was the Assault Rifle (M4) taken on 09-15-11, during the time an EPCSO detective was assaulted.  The case remains under investigation.
