EL PASO, TEXAS– This week’s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent assault on his sister in-law. The target is identified as MARIANO FELIZ JR. (46) of El Paso, TX.
MAY 2010: On 05-20-2010 at 4:00 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies dispatched to the 19000 block of Cobb in Tornillo, Texas in reference to a family disturbance. Deputies arrived & met with a female Victim who was visibly shaken & had suffered facial injuries & was bleeding from her mouth area. The female told Deputies she had just been violently assaulted by her husband JUAN FELIZ (41) & his brother MARIANO FELIZ JR (46) who resided with them. Apparently the FELIZ brothers had been physically assaulting the Victim over the course of 3 days. The FELIZ brothers fled the scene prior to the Deputies arrival. While talking to the Victim, Deputies spotted the husband JUAN FELIZ walking down the street & quickly took him into custody. JUAN FELIZ arrested & charged with ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY/ FAMILY VIOLENCE. His brother MARIANO FELIZ JR. has since then disappeared & has not been seen since.
A background check on MARIANO FELIZ JR. revealed he is a wanted felon sought for an unrelated 2009 charge of POSSESSION OF COCAINE with a $100,000 BOND. Charges have since been filed against MARIANO FELIZ JR. as he continues eluding capture. It is believed he remains in the borderland hiding with friends or family.
