RESULT: SEVERAL ARRESTED
El Paso County, TX- During the week of November 2 to November 6, 2009, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team conducted Operation Dead Beat II. This was the second wave of this operation. The first wave was conducted during the week of August 12 to August 15, 2009 in which 13 people were arrested for outstanding warrants for Criminal Non-Support (Child Support back pay).

During the second wave of the operation the Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Texas Attorney General’s Office which resulted in the arrest of 21 people with outstanding Criminal Non-Support or other Criminal Warrants. Bonds of those arrested ranged from $308.00 to $57,000.00. A total amount of all cash bonds for those arrested totaled $167,030.
