EVENT:  Detectives seek help in Murder of of 22 year-old man

LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 400 block of Hartley San Elizario, TX

RESULT:  HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION ENSUES

CRIMESCENE UPDATE:  VICTOR ESCUDERO (22) who was found suffering from multiple gun shot wounds in his San Elizario, TX home on October 17, 2009 - has died as a result of his injuries. Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Persons Detectives have upgraded this case to a HOMICIDE.

There have now been 2 HOMICIDES outside of El Paso City limits in a little over a week. At this time there is nothing to indicate both cases are connected.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives are urging anyone who may have been in contact with VICTORCrime Stopper logo  ESCUDERO on Friday night 10/16 or Saturday morning 10/17 or has any information as to the shooting of VICTOR ECUDERO to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (915) 546-2280. BACKGROUND:

SAN ELIZARIO, TX-  On Saturday, October 17, 2009 at about 9:00 am, 22 year-old VICTOR ESCUDERO was found at his residence located in the 400 block of Hartley Rd. San Elizario, TX suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. CID Crimes Against Persons Detectives have been working this case extensively since Saturday following several leads. ESCUDERO remained at a local hospital in critical condition until his death.
