RESULT:  Investigation Continues

CRIMESCENEUPDATE-  On Tuesday, 10-27-09 Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Persons Detectives attended the autopsy of Homicide Victim DANIEL ARCEO. Medical examiner Dr. Paul Shrode determined the Victim DANIEL ARCEO died as a results of gun shot wounds. Investigation continues / no other information will be released at this time.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives are continuing with the investigation & are urging anyone who may have been in contact with DANIEL ARCEO on Saturday night 10/24 or Sunday morning 10/25 or has any information regarding the death of the Victim, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (915) 546-2280. MONDAY, October 26, 2009- As of today 10-26-09 at 2:40 PM, Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing with the investigation. An Autopsy is scheduled for later today or early tomorrow to determine exact cause of death.

CORRECTION: The Victim was initially identified as DANIEL ARZEO, confirmation has been made on his name correctly listed as DANIEL ARCEO

BACKGROUND:

MONTANA VISTA- Early Sunday morning, October 25, 2009 at about 7:30 a.m., Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 3900 Block of Desert Meadows in reference to a Welfare Check. Upon arrival Deputies discovered the body of 25 year-old DANIEL ARCEO who resides in the Montana Vista Area, Far East El Paso County.
