Special invitation to attend opening ceremony of the 10th Annual Southwest Regional Crimes Against Children’s Conference. Over 500 law enforcement, Child Protective Services Investigators and child abuse specialists from West Texas, and Southern New Mexico will be receiving this vital training on detecting and protecting children from sexual and physical abuse. District Attorney Jaime Esparza, County Attorney Jose Rodriguez, Police Chief Greg Allen, Sheriff Jimmy Apodaca, Supervisory Special Agent FBI, Child Protective Services Program Administrator Diana Barajas, and Susan H. Oliva, Executive Director for the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso at the 10th Annual Southwest Regional Crimes Against Children’s Conference.

Five hundred child abuse detectives, investigators, and child abuse advocates will attend the 10th Annual Southwest Regional Crimes Against Children’s Conference, sponsored by the American Bar Association, Federal Bureau of Investigation, District Attorney’s Office, El Paso Police Department, El Paso Sheriff’s Office, Child Protective Services, El Paso Community College and the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso.
Presentations will be made on various topics to include the Medical Child Abuse Forensic Examinations / Evaluations, Responding to Victims of Human Trafficking, Behavior Analysis of Victim / Perpetrator and Sex Offender Round Up. Nationally known behavior analyst Ken Lanning will be presenting
